This one day course is designed to introduce students to the concepts of BIM and the tools most commonly used in the industry. This date is tentative and will be confirmed.
The Close Out Project
Getting a construction project to substantial performance and then to total performnace are two of the most difficult milestones in the construction process to achieve. This process involves thousands of actions performed by hundreds, if not thousands of individuals from all facets of the construction chain including manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, sub-substrades subtrades, general contractors, construction managers architects, consulting engineers, allied professionals, project management, developers etc. while the obligations of each are often detailed in the project documents and various contracts they are not always properly co-ordinated and can lead to cost over-runs and delays in achieving substantial performance and then total performance.

The course on Planning and Scheduling will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge required to successfully plan and schedule simple to complex projects. Tracking and control of the project also forms an integral part of the course material. This course is suitable for general contractors, site supervisors and anyone involved in the planning and scheduling of projects. This course conforms to CCA Gold Seal Standards.

Blueprint Reading and Estimating Level 2

The Bluprint Reading and Estimating Level 2 course is designed for contractors, office personnel and suppliers working in the construction industry who have work related experience in estimating and/or who have taken the Level 1 course. This course conforms to CCA Gold Seal Standards. There is a written exam at the end of the course and passing students will receive a certificate suitable for framing. All course material is provided.
