The Construction Institute of Canada 's mission is: to develop and promote professionalism and excellence in the management of the construction process. Our first 'Call to Arms"introduced the construction institute as the industry's premier education and training centre for today's and tomorrow's construction executives. Now we take the next step - professional recognition - professional status.

The Construction Institute of Canada offers an accreditation program based on four basis pillars: education, experience, service and conduct. These measurements are of you - the person - the aspiring leader/professional. The institute measures your development, your contributions, your experience and your conduct. The construction institute of Canada accreditation process is voluntary, non governmental, nor is it licensing. It's the industry's own program - developed by the industry for the industry.

The benefits are obvious: professional status, peer recognition, measurable benchmark of competence by clients, government organizations and other agencies, marketing tool, demonstration of a commitment ot ongoing professional - lifelong education / professional development, assists in the transferability of qualifications from company to company or region to region, enhanced credibility and a positive public image of the industry and the industry's professionals, participation in professional networking, commitment to ethical practices and standards, linkages with international organizations such as: CIOB and AIC and demonstrates your advancement potential.

In The Construction Institute of Canada you earn your stripes - nothing comes for free - there's no grandfathering, but advanced standing for those who qualify will be granted.
