| | Who We Are
The Construction Institute of Canada was founded in 2003 by a group of Canadian construction industry executives to promote the highest possible standard of professionalism and ethical conduct in an industry characterized by stiff competition and often razor thin margins. Its chartered members share a sense of urgency concerning professional excellence and recognize education and professional development as a life long commitment. TCIC also recognizes the need for self-regulation and governs itself accordingly. The TCIC provides formal accreditation and continuing professional development opportunities for Canadian construction industry practitioners. TCIC is dedicated to promoting construction excellence and recognition for the highly ethical and professional practitioners who comprise its membership.
Simply put, the objectives of the TCIC are:
- Maintain the highest possible ethical standards and administer membership governance accordingly.
- Identify, develop and deliver accredited professional development and training opportunities for construction industry professionals in Canada.
- Provide industry practitioners with an educational accreditation program which combines construction specific technical knowledge with commensurate business and management skills.
- Promote active industry partnerships and networking.
- Cultivate and maintain global affiliations and international reciprocity.
